Linen quality begins with the fiber. Long-fiber (line) flax is stronger, smoother, and more lustrous than the short-fiber flax used in cheaper textiles — it pills less, lasts longer, and softens more beautifully. We use premium long-fiber flax, the grade prized for durable, lustrous linen.
A 220 GSM waffle weave
Weave matters as much as fiber. Our towels use a waffle weave at 220 GSM — a raised grid of pockets that increases surface area, so the towel pulls water off your skin quickly and dries itself in about an hour. It is the sweet spot: substantial enough to absorb and feel good, light enough to keep linen’s signature quick-dry advantage.
